Values Expo on Thursday 13th November from 5-7pm.

For two hours we will be showcasing the programs that play such a vital role in the wellbeing of our school community. Students will be able to guide their parents/carers through the extensive range of programs we have on offer. Using our wonderful FRIENDS acronym you will be able to

·  learn about the school wide values program, Chapman Values Friends

·  discover what the acronyms of “FRIENDS” and “BOUNCE BACK” stand for

·  experience Circle Time for yourself

·  make a stress ball

·  try the “Rock and Water Program”

·  play Indonesian Volleyball

·  learn about the school’s Relationships Policy and Restorative Practices

·  participate in a Peer Support Lesson led by our fabulous Year 6 students

At any time over the two hours you can visit one of the exciting workshops and you will receive a stamp on your "Expo Passport". Four stamps and every member of your party will receive a free sausage and "Chapman values FRIENDS" fridge magnet. Cold drinks, tea and coffee will also be available for purchase.

Invitations will be coming home via students and RSVPs should be returned to classroom teachers by Friday 7 November to assist us with catering for the Sausage Sizzle.  Numbers are limited so don’t delay!

Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to share in the programs that play such an important role in your child’s education.

We hope to see you there.

Alkira

Alkira was inaugurated at Chapman last year and it was such a success that is was deemed to be an annual event.  Alkira meaning “free spirit” is the name chosen for a display of our children’s art.  Each child produced a piece of quality art which was then mounted and displayed at the Alkira Art Show opening on Thursday 11 August.  The art show was also opened to the public on Saturday 13 August. This year we had the luxury of using the new school hall for the show, this provided the Chapman community with an opportunity to have a closer look at the hall! All art work looked stunning and a huge effort was put in by all. Thanks to the Pre-school for their fantastic Poles art work and a spectacular peice by Anthony Frost. Both peices were auctioned on the night and raised a nice donation.
