Equity Fund
The Future of Education Equity Fund gives financial help to families who need it. It helps get the things your child needs for school and their wellbeing. For example, it can help cover costs like uniforms, excursions, sporting equipment, sporting activities and music lessons. If you're having trouble paying for school essentials, talk to your school. You can:
- contact the school to speak to the school principal or another staff member .
- ask a relative, caseworker, friend or advocate to contact the school for you.

Excursions and Camps
Excursions provide a critical dimension to classroom learning where students are energised by the anticipation of leaving the school environment to learn new things in the real world. These are a fundamental part of your child’s education, and we encourage all students to participate in these experiences.
All students have the opportunity to participate in part or full day excursions for their class, year level, special group or whole school excursions to complement our learning programs. Students in year 3-6 also have the opportunity to participate in our Camp and Outdoor education program.
Parent information and permission notes are sent home for all excursions requesting parental permission to attend, medical information of students and in most cases, a request for financial contribution. To ensure all students are able to attend these activities, the school has an Equity Fund to support families if needed.
